Facebook Will Allow Nearly All Employees To Work Remotely Post-Pandemic
Facebook has shifted its remote work policy to let all full-time employees continue working from home even after the pandemic. “We’ve learned over the past year that good work can get done anywhere, and I’m even more optimistic that remote work at scale is possible, particularly as remote video presence and virtual reality continue to improve,” - Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, told employees in an internal memo.

Apple employee group rejects planned return to the office
80 Apple employees wrote an open letter to CEO Tim Cook calling on the company to be more flexible about remote working as Apple offices reopen. After that, employees began in a "remote work advocates" Slack channel with about 2,800 members. Apple might face pressure to adjust its workplace policies, if just to reflect shifting attitudes toward remote work among other tech giants.
