Remote Work = More Workforce Diversity Remote work encourages a more diverse range of people into the workforce by making use of the skills of people who are otherwise not working, or not working very much, including mothers and people living outside major cities. The flexibility of remote work also encourages older workers to stay in the labor force for longer, according to the U.K.’s Office for National Statistics. Remote work should be a priority for economies confronting aging populations.
